How did the FCB branch in Vietnam help delivery drivers?

The pandemic is entering its third year and during this period we have been forced to change our daily lives all around the globe. Depending on the country in which we live and the current epidemiological situation, the measures to control the Covid-19 virus were more or less strict. Essential workers carried the greatest burden to ensure the more or less normal functioning of society. In addition to medical and utility staff, a large burden, especially in some countries where people's movement was more limited, was held by delivery drivers.

One of such countries was Vietnam, where at one time people were not allowed to leave their homes for a 4-month lockdown. On the almost empty streets of the cities, delivery drivers could be seen on their motorcycles delivering supplies and helping to make life continue in the new circumstances.

For this reason, Happiness Saigon, a branch of the FCB network in Vietnam, has partnered with RU9, a company that manufactures sleeping equipment. Exhausted delivery drivers often took breaks during the lockdown and could be seen on the streets trying to sleep on their motorcycles.

The idea was to give them a slightly better rest, so the company created comfortable mattresses for their motorcycles. The idea is good because it is based on local insight – there would hardly be any space to launch a similar campaign in places where the behavior of the shippers was not similar.

The campaign was supposed to thank the delivery drivers who worked hard in previous years and help them rest better. Previously, the company tried to improve the quality of sleep of medical workers, so now it has continued with the same project.

Fifty shippers received special comfortable seats as a gift to try it and enjoy it, and all delivery employees are entitled to a discount when buying any RU9 product.
