Lords tea has, thanks to FCB Afirma, got a recognizable commercial. We decided to look at tea not as a solution for health problems nor as a part of a Far East ritual in the process of achieving zen. We brought the tea back right to those who have, as we have seen it in numerous films and TV series, mastered the ritual of tea drinking – English people.

In order to get closer to English people, we decided to conquer absurd British humor, play with words and situations, and show what it’s like to deeply enjoy every single moment of drinking the tea, even in the most peculiar company.

Tea drinking here definitely is not as popular as it is in Britain. We mostly connect tea with illness, instead of with the moment dedicated to enjoying and relaxing. On the order hand, even when we picture English people drinking tea, we imagine stereotypical lordly English characters gathered around cookies with tea exchanging polite sentences.

Precisely this kind of imaginary picture gave us a room to play with it. In the same manner, we wanted to play with Serbian frequently used phrases.

Someone is pretending to be an Englishman, someone is coming in like a parachutist. When you take a phrase in literal meaning, you get a comical twist.

Hero of Lord TVC is a lovable couple that drinks tea in a way parody version of a British aristocracy would do. Anyway, our couple is not that stuffy at all. They are willing to accept different kind of unexpected guests. For starters, there is parachutist that came into their home just like... well, parachutist. Literally.
