BATTLE FOR KNOWLEDGE: Let’s equip elementary schools with robotic equipment

A big national campaign “Kodigranje” has started, as a part of the action “Battle for Knowledge”. This campaign is dedicated to the development of computer literacy among primary school children and preparing them for life in the 21st century.

We are proud that we have created this campaign along with the B92 Fund. Campaign aims to help children develop critical thinking and problem solving skills through learning programming/coding at primary schools, but it also motivates them to consider the professions in the field of ICT and so called STEM occupations or areas of natural and mathematical sciences, technology and engineering.

The goal of "Battle for knowledge" is equipping all primary schools in Serbia with different IT and robotic equipment, training teachers to use modern equipment as a teaching tool for providing quality education to children, as well as organizing the competition "KODigranje", with the participation of all the schools that have received mBot robots as a donation. Teams will consist of primary school children, from 5th to 8th grade, and the most successful teams will receive appropriate rewards - even more advanced robots and other IT equipment so that the acquired knowledge could be advanced to a higher level.
